Selection Guide for Cylinder Gases

You may have:
various gases with employees responsible for changing regulators and manually handling the cylinders

Industrial Gas User Workshop	Employees who work with or come into contact with compressed gases (include stores, security staff)	4 hours
Laboratory Gas User Workshop	Employees who work with or come into contact with compressed gases (include stores, security staff)	4 hours

Documentation:

Delegates will receive:

• Gas Safety Passport
• Certificate of attendance
• Workshop Handbook

In addition a Manager or Supervisor attending will receive:

• Compressed Gases Site Safety Manual

The certificates of attendance will be sent to the person who has booked training together with:

• An appropriate BCGA Code of Practice for gas usage
• Delegate listing with chart of quiz results to include in training records

Requirements for training:

Training is held at your company premises. Requirements are:

• A suitable training room equipped with a white screen
• Cylinders & regulators for the practical session
• Delegates wishing to undertake cylinder handling must have appropriate PPE i.e.
  - stout gloves (rigger)
  - safety shoes
  - safety spectacles
• PGS will provide laptop and projector for the classroom presentation
