Selection Guide for Cylinder & Cryogenic
Gases
You may have:
a combination of cylinder and cryogenic gases

| Industrial or Laboratory Gas User Workshop | Employees who work with or come into contact with compressed gases (include stores, security staff) | 4 hours |
| Cryogenic Module | Employees who work with or come into contact with cryogenic gases | 1.5 hours |
Documentation:
Delegates will receive:
- Gas Safety Passport
- Certificate of attendance
- Workshop Handbook
In addition a Manager or Supervisor attending will receive:
- Compressed Gases Site Safety Manual
The certificates of attendance will be sent to the person who has booked training together with:
- An appropriate BCGA Code of Practice for gas usage
- Delegate listing with chart of quiz results to include in training records
Requirements for training:
Training is held at your company premises. Requirements are:
- A suitable training room equipped with a white screen
- Cylinders & regulators for the practical session
- Delegates wishing to undertake cylinder handling must have appropriate PPE i.e.
- stout gloves (rigger)
- safety shoes
- safety spectacles - PGS will provide laptop and projector for the classroom presentation
